Purple Tramble also known as "Purple Reels The Go Getter" is an Independent Filmmaker an alumni of Howard University where she studied Communications - [TV/Film Production]. Tramble is passionate about working with small businesses, bands, artists etc. by giving them a tool to market themselves through video promotion. She is also passionate about the progression of the modern filmmaker by providing them with new ideas to keep them ahead of the game. Tramble is an Activist and Advocate of Educating and Empowering the next generation by providing them with positive images that destroy racial stereotypes and sexist or demeaning behavior in regards to young women. Her mission is to provide hope to the hopeless, a voice to the voiceless, and support others on a mission to bring peace, spread love, and make a positive change. TELLING THEIR STORIES

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 to speak the names and tell the stories of 8,428 people buried in the African American and Quaker cemeteries in Adams Morgan.

Mark the 149th Anniversary of District Emancipation ~ Mark the 163rd Anniversary of the attempted escape of 77 enslaved men, women and children on the schooner Pearl ~ Join the Walter Pierce Park Archaeology Project team for refreshments and discussion afterward ~ No RSVP needed, and all are welcome!

Walter Pierce Park is located just east of Rock Creek and the Duke Ellington Bridge, between Calvert Street and Adams Mill Road.  The 90, 92, 93 and L2 and Adams Morgan Circulator buses stop nearby, or take the Metro Red Line to the Adams Morgan station.
