This has to be by far Angelina Jolie's best role yet. She was lethal in this movie, an absolute powerhouse, a raging bull. She went through so many disguises and in each her character was flawless. Salt (Angelina Jolie) plays a Russian spy who was trained from birth to perform missions for the Russian government. Salt disguises herself as an FBI agent and the rest is up to you to find out when you go see the movie!
There are many twists and turns throughout the movie but the jolt that you will feel, the adrenalin rush can be attributed to the excellent camera work/movement throughout the action scenes. The best action scene by far would have to be when she was jumping from moving truck top to moving truck top on the freeway in Washington, DC. What was superb about the writing was that nothing was revealed too quickly... the audience was always left in suspense even until the end!
The Director Phillip Noyce did an excellent job on projection in reference to taking each scene to the next level! BRAVO! Purple Reels gives "Salt" Five stars *****
